The playwright Peter Tinniswood [1936 – 2003] was one of radio's most popular writers and created a host of characters, often wickedly funny, always totally believable. In this three-hour showcase, radio critic Gillian Reynolds introduces four of her favourite Tinniswood plays: The Last Obit [28/04/1998]; Tales from the Backbench: Time To Confess [21/11/2001]; The House Swap [06/02/1999]; Dorothy, A Manager's Wife [17/10/2000].
