Sir Cliff Richard and Nikki Lilly
Sir Cliff Richard, national treasure, has news on his 80th birthday celebrations and BAFTA winning vlogger, baker and interviewer Nikki Lilly chats to Zoe about her new book.
Sir Cliff Richard chats to Zoe about his plans to celebrate his 80th birthday. He’s had a hit in every decade since the 1950s, he’s sold well over 250 million records and he is the third-top-selling artist in UK singles chart history, behind only The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Cliff moved to England from India during the post-WW2 recession and discovered music and performing as a teenager. Cliff’s work on-screen includes filming ‘The Young Ones’ and ‘Summer Holiday’. He also famously entered the Eurovision Song Contest in 1968 with the song 'Congratulations' and finished in second place.
Nikki Lilly is a BAFTA winning vlogger, baker and interviewer and is on the phone to talk to Zoe about her new book. YouTube sensation Nikki began her online channel at the age of eight, after being diagnosed with a rare medical condition called an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which means there are no pathways between her veins and arteries, causing her veins to expand and rupture. The condition creates life-threatening nose bleeds, facial swelling and migraines, but despite this Nikki has built a huge online following, thanks to her inspirational messages of positivity. To date she has over a million YouTube subscribers and 1.6 million followers on TikTok. Nikki has her own CÂ鶹ԼÅÄ series, Nikki Lilly Meets, in which she chats to some of the country’s top celebs from Louis Theroux to Theresa May.
Along with Tina Daheley on news, Richie Anderson on travel and Mike Williams on sport, she and the team have the best start to your morning. With celeb guests, quizzes, headlines, tunes chosen by listeners, and more music that you can shake a glitterball at!
There's also a daily Pause For Thought with Laura Marks as Zoe entertains the nation with fun for the family!
