Beyoncé chooses her final Tracks of My Years with Ken in an interview from the archives which was originally broadcast back in 2009 following the release of her third studio album "I Am...Sasha Fierce." The album went on to top the American charts that year earning Beyoncé her third consecutive US number one solo album. Beyoncé is one of the world's best selling music artists, having sold to date over 100 million records worldwide. She is the most nominated woman in the Grammy Award's history, with a total of 24 wins. In 2014, she became the highest paid black musician in history and was listed among Time's 100 most influential people in the world for a second year in a row. She occupied the sixth place for Time's Person of the Year in 2016 and in 2020 was named one of the 100 women who defined the last century by the same publication.
Beyoncé went on to marry US Rapper Jay-Z in 2014 and in 2017 they gave birth to twins Rumi and Sir Carter. The couple now have three children the eldest of which is Blue Ivy Carter. The singing superstar's final chosen tunes of the week in 2009 come from Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson. In the ensuing years Beyoncé enjoyed two more number one albums - '4' in 2011 and 'Lemonade' in 2016.
Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email ken.bruce@bbc.co.uk
