Glasgow and the Clyde Valley

In Glasgow and the Clyde Valley, the judges visit an extended 1930s home, a modern architectural gem, and a painstakingly restored city apartment. But only one can make the final.

Architect and teacher Michael Angus, renowned Glasgow-based interior designer Anna Campbell Jones and globally recognised lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers scour the country for Scotland’s Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ of the Year.

This episode sees tham exploring three homes in Glasgow and the Clyde Valley, where Kate has a fruitful visit to a colourful 1930s home in East Renfrewshire, complete with an industrial chic extension. A meeting point for Scottish and Mediterranean style, it’s a fabulous family home. Overlooking a golf course in Whitecraigs, the next home - an architectural gem with a cantilevered master suite and concrete finish - puts a spring in the step of one of our judges. And at the final home - a painstakingly restored apartment in Glasgow’s West End, with hand gilded cornices and artwork aplenty - it all becomes a bit too much for another of the judges.

Each house is marked out of ten, with the judges looking for unique, well-designed and much-loved homes. But only one will make it through to the final.
