Artistic gymnast Amelie represents Team GB for her first European Champs as a senior.
Hot off her amazing success at the Junior European championships, artistic gymnast Amelie has been selected for the European Championships, where she will be competing as part of the senior female team along with her heroes Ellie Downie, Claudia Fragapane and Alice Kinsella.
It’s a huge jump up for Amelie, and she not only has the pressure of being the youngest on the team, she is also having to compete without best friend and training partner, Phoebe, by her side. However, Phoebe has managed to convince her parents to let her go to Poland to support Amelie and has persuaded gymnast Alice to come with her as well. Will Amelie be able to hold her nerve and deliver a performance that will make her team-mates proud?
And for the GB coaches watching her every move will she impress them enough to keep her in with a chance to secure a place in the Olympic team?
Meanwhile, Nile Wilson is back for another round of Gym Stars challenges. Having lost to the Gym Stars in Series 2, Nile is more determined than ever to win, so this week he is setting the acro squad a strength enduring test to see who can win the crown for having biceps of steel.
And finally, Madi choses her very own Gym Stars Top 20 gymnast – the person she’d most like to see make it to the Olympics – and it’s the 2018 Commonwealth Games champion and 2019 European Champion on the beam, Alice Kinsella.
