One of the big developments was the news from the UK Government that every person over the age of 70 will be told "within the coming weeks" to stay at home for an extended period to shield them from coronavirus. Scotlandβs Chief Medical Officer said that the Scottish Government WILL NOT be asking over 70s to completely isolate. A request to reduce social contact is one of a range of possible measures they will make decisions on in the coming days.
