ON THE PHONE-IN
The Scottish FA is cracking down on football β€œbanter” in an effort to eradicate homophobia and encourage more gay players to come out. The football authorities will increase efforts to sanction supporters, coaches and players who continue to use homophobic slurs. Stadium announcements, pitch side hoardings and programme adverts will warn fans that anti-gay language is illegal.
