Like thousands of fans Grant was carried along that epic journey when, with half an hour left on the clock and with Scotland heading towards defeat, the unimaginable happened. Almost one year on this is the story of how the afternoon unfolded through the memories of the players, commentators and spectators as Scotland came back from 31-0 down to tie the game and retain the Calcutta Cup.
