How about starting a bog to brighten up your garden? September's the ideal time to get going on a new project. As autumn approaches you can transform your garden into a haven for animals, amphibians and insects.
Nicola Singleton's been to the Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre in Grangemouth to learn how to easily establish a hibernation woodpile, a wildflower patch and a bog garden. Rangers Claire Martin and Jack Farge take her through the first steps of these rewilding projects.
Kale is not normally something the Kitchen Cafe's Jenny MacPherson would put on her plate, but chef Graeme Pallister reckons he's got a dish that will change her mind.
Over in the Beechgrove garden Carole Baxter tells us why now is the moment to be planting some bare root roses.
