Brent Smith from Shinedown chooses his Rock God and Johnnie marks the final UK gig for Led Zeppelin in 'This Week In Rock'.

Shinedown frontman Brent Smith knows how to entertain an audience. His band have sold millions of records and they've been touring the world for the best part of 20 years. His 'Rock God' is a lightning-fingered musician who he's toured with and who's influenced generations of rockers, too. Shinedown will be here in the UK in December for a series of arena dates with Alter Bridge. They've also just released their new single 'Monsters', taken from their current album 'Attention Attention'. Elsewhere on the show, 'This Week In Rock' focuses on the final, massive UK gig for Led Zeppelin in 1979. Johnnie will also bring you this week's essential rock releases and some real treasures from the last six decades of rock.
