Remembering Martyn

The Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present ethical and religious issues, with guests and spiritual music.

Wednesday 22nd May is the 2nd anniversary of the attack on the Manchester Arena. 22 people were killed when a terrorist blew himself up as people were leaving an Ariana Grande concert.

One of those who died was Martyn Hett. He was 29. Martyn's mum Figen and his stepdad Stuart join Kate and Jason to reflect on the anniversary and tell them why they are now campaigning for better security at concert venues across the UK.

After she was treated for cancer on her face, the Bishop of Warrington, Beverley Mason explains why her own experience has motivated her to back a campaign that encourages us to support people living with visual differences.

And our Charity Champion Nazim Ali is just back from northern Iraq where he helped distribute packages of food in the bombed out city of Mosul.
