Following the death of Jean Vanier the inspirational founder of the LβArche communities, we dip into our archive to hear an interview he recorded in 1995 for All Things Considered.
The death was recently announced of Jean Vanier, the founder of the worldwide network of LβArche communities, where people with learning disabilities, and those without, live and work together.
In 1995 Jean Vanier, a devout Roman Catholic, visited the Brecon community and spoke to Roy Jenkins. Roy recalls βIβve never forgotten the half-hour in which he outlined his visionβ. So to mark the death of this inspirational man, there is another chance to hear an edition of All Things Considered which was first broadcast in 1995.
