Can anyone stop New Zealand riders from recording a third straight title? Jonelle Price claimed victory on board British-bred mare Classic Moet 12 months ago to become the first female rider to win the event in 11 years. The duo shared the lead entering the show jumping phase and despite rattling several fences posted an excellent clear round which was more than four seconds inside the optimum time.

The show jumping event, staged in front of a passionate 16,000 crowd, is a test of both the horse and rider’s accuracy and agility with fences ranging from 1.30m high to 2.30m wide.
