The stars were out in force on the red carpet in Edinburgh on Friday 19 October for the Scottish premiere of the Netflix historic epic: Outlaw King, starring Chris Pine. But does the American's accent hold up in Scotland?

The former High Court judge, Dame Laura Cox, published a scathing report on the extent of bullying and sexual harassment in the House of Commons. Dame Laura said there had been "disturbing" instances of MPs "inappropriately touching" and "repeatedly propositioning" women, which she said had "long been tolerated and concealed". The issue has raised questions about the role of the Speaker, John Bercow who presides over MPs' behaviour.

Saudi Arabia has finally admitted that the Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, is dead. Saudi's public prosecutor said a fight broke out between Mr Khashoggi and people he met in the country's Turkish consulate, which led to his death.
