Singer-songwriter Gretchen Peters tells the Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad about her new album 'Dancing with the Beast'. An acclaimed songwriter, Gretchen discusses how she approaches her music, why her new album foregrounds female characters and her approach to faith and spirituality.

Kate Bowler is 35, a Mum, wife and Theology Professor. She's also been diagnosed stage IV colon cancer. She tells the Rev Kate Bottley what she's learnt about faith, friendship, love and death, as documented in her book 'Everything Happens For A Reason And Other Lies I've Loved'. Her diagnosis has given her a new outlook on the time, listeners share the ways they make the most of the time they have.

And our Charity Champion is 10 year old Macie Chapman, nominated by her teacher Sue Shaw for the money she has raised making and selling bookmarks for Great Ormond Street Hospital, where her brother Oliver has cancer treatment. Sue says that Macie "is a real star" and deserves to "be recognised for her determination and perseverance in her endeavours to make life a little better for all those who know her." We agree.
