Nandita Ghose - One Thousand Days, One Thousand Nights
Two sisters are reunited and communicate through old Persian fables. Stars Souad Faress and Bharti Patel.
Scheherazade and Dinarzade are sisters, named after the famed story tellers of A Thousand and One Nights. Like their namesakes, they love the old stories and tell them to each other by candle light.
They are separated for 25 years and when they meet again, their only way of communicating is through the old Persian fables.
Nandita Ghose's drama stars Souad Faress as Scheherazade, Bharti Patel as Dinarzade, Rina Mahoney as Young Scheherazade, Natalia Keery Fisher as Young Dinarzade, Hema Mangoo as Jyoti, Andrew Greenough as Mark, Alexander Delamere as John Bryson, Nasser Memarzia as Father and Adlyn Ross as Mother.
