More about the programme
It’s estimated that every year, as a planet, we use 100 billion disposable plastic items. If not disposed of properly they can blight the environment and damage both wildlife and human health.
Now community-based campaigns are springing up all over Wales to push back at the seemingly inexorable tide of plastic.Β
While the changes may seem small, those leading the charge believe that they will make a difference.Β Β But just how far can those little steps take us?Β
Kayley Thomas visits Ceredigion - the centre of the growing plastic-free campaign in Wales - to ask if what’s happening there is a moment that will pass or the beginning of a movement that could deliver real change.
