Hiphop and crofting might not be two concepts you've ever considered to be related in any way, but these two approaches to life are inextricably linked for Griogair Labhruidh who embraces both passionately. Mark hears how Griogair goes about juggling a life as a touring musician, writer, crofter and scholar from his croft in Ballachulish, all the while striving to keep alive the language and culture he grew up in.
After 7 o'clock
Back in 2003 Paul Lister, a landowner in the north of Scotland decided he wanted to reintroduce wolves to his estate. It remains a controversial plan and one which hit the headlines again recently. Euan goes back to the Alladale Estate to catch up with Paul and get his thoughts 15 years on from his original proposal.
Speyside has been nominated in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Countryfile Magazine Awards 2018 as Holiday Destination of the Year. It is the only area in Scotland to be shortlisted so Euan went for a visit to find out what makes it so popular.
Mark visits The Art Hut, a wee art gallery high in the hills at Hightae near Lochmaben and meets its owner, landscape painter Minette Bell MacDonald.
Euan revisits Argaty Red Kites near Doune about 20 years after his first visit to find out how the kite population has done over the years.
It's the time of year when Robert Burns is foremost in some of our minds. Stuart Paterson, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland's Poet in Residence tells Mark the story of Burns and Tibby Pagan who ran a howff on the moors near the village of Muirkirk.
