With our support since 2004, over 180,000 people inΜύZambia and Mozambique now have access to safe water and a decent toilet. Families are healthier, meaning parents can work more and earn a living, while their children get to school regularly.
Imagine drinking this water everyday
Before the Village Water project, this was Mutinta's drinking water. She spent up to three hours a day collecting enough for her family's needs, knowing it was dirty and making them sick.
Handwashing is important, wherever you live
Mwiza, Mutinta's daughter, knows how important good sanitation habits are if she wants to stay healthy and finish her education.
Safe water, close to home
Mutinta and her family now have safe water close to home, whenever they need it.
