Bone Cancer Research Trust

Primary bone cancer patients face aggressive chemotherapy and life-altering surgery. Survival rates haven’t improved in over 30 years. The disease can affect people at any age, and is particularly prevalent among children and teenagers. We fund research to better diagnose and treat the disease and ultimately find a cure.

Clinical research is the only way that new and better treatments for bone cancer will emerge. Donations allow us to fund researchers like Kenny, who is working to improve how bone cancer patients are treated and monitored.

Educating the next generation of doctors

Educating the next generation of doctors
We fund a project that encourages junior doctors like Charlie to shadow bone cancer specialists. We also developed the first ever primary bone cancer online learning module in partnership with the Royal College of GPs to improve earlier diagnosis.

Providing patients with the information they need

Providing patients with the information they need
Awareness of primary bone cancer as a condition is extremely low. We provide information across all nine different tumour types and work closely with healthcare professionals to provide patients with clear, reliable information.
