Jo Whiley and Simon Mayo introduce West country folk acts Seth Lakeman and Wildwood Kin onto the Hyde Park stage.
Devon-born Seth has won two Radio 2 Folk Awards for his solo work, as well as gaining a Mercury Nomination for his 2005 album Kitty Jay. He is joined by fellow West country musicians Wildwood Kin, who were nominated for the Radio 2 Young Folk award in 2015, and have since established themselves as a highlight of the festival scene. Jo Whiley and folk fan Simon Mayo introduce them onto stage.
Other entertainment on the day includes a live DJ set from Ana Matronic and features such as special editions of Popmaster, with Ken Bruce pitting Zoe Ball against Claudia Winkleman, and Sounds of the 80s, with Sara Cox presenting the era's pop videos. Clare Balding hosts A Question of 2, with Jeremy Vine, the Rev Kate Bottley and Jon Culshaw competing in a quiz testing their knowledge of Radio 2. And marking the network's 50th anniversary, Tony Blackburn and Paul Gambaccini introduce an orchestra piece encompassing Radio 2 themes and signature tunes.
