Roy takes Lexi on a tour of the village. After the awkwardness on Friday regarding Constantin, Roy's surprised she agreed to come out with him. Lexi is pleased they are still friends. They run into Will and Brian, who are preparing the ground for the shoot. Roy strikes up conversation about cricket but it's not an interest of Lexi's. When they move on Roy wonders what Brian thought of seeing the two of them. Roy thanks Lexi for supporting Phoebe during her pregnancy scare. He invites Lexi back to Willow Cottage, and they share a kiss.

Brian isn't impressed to discover that Adam has decided to hire Johnny to cover Jeff's work. He's so inexperienced, Adam disagrees. Brian comes round to the idea when he realises that they'll be paying Johnny the apprentice rate.

Adam surprises Ian with the suggestion that they should look into adoption. Ian's thrilled. Adam has arranged for them to go to a meeting next week to find out more. It wasn't an easy decision, but he wants Ian to be happy. Ian is very excited by the prospect. This could be the start of something wonderful.
