Rex rings Anisha to confirm they're still on for their date. They're both looking forward to it, Anisha asks Rex to surprise her with his choice of restaurant. But Rex is forced to cancel when a last minute taxi booking comes through. He can't afford to turn down the work. Rex hopes to reschedule immediately, but Anisha reckons they should wait until nets on Thursday.

Elizabeth finds Freddie returning to Lower Loxley when he's supposed to be at college. He missed the bus and doesn't see the point of going in. He's a free spirit, he wants to get a job now, and see the world. Elizabeth impresses on him that he can't get a decent job without an education. When Freddie refuses to go to college, Elizabeth stops his allowance. Walking over to 麻豆约拍 Farm, Freddie meets Adam, who's still short of pickers. Freddie eagerly volunteers. After a very enjoyable day, Freddie hopes Adam will take him on full-time.

Elizabeth hopes David can persuade Freddie to stay in college but David insists she's the best person to get him back on track. Adam will only employ Freddie with Elizabeth's permission, which she refuses. She's arranged a meeting with Freddie's head of year on Thursday much to Freddie's annoyance.
