Lenny Henry is passionate about music and has impeccable and eclectic taste. While sizzling soul, funk and R&B will provide some of the ingredients in the lunchtime mix for Good Friday, there will be surprises from other areas. With thematic links between the songs, Lenny introduces music from across borders by singers from France, Switzerland, Jamaica and Brazil, alongside British and American stars. The range extends from Yello to James Brown, BB King to Prince to the Queen of Soul, Paul Simon to Caetano Veloso, The Beatles to The Specials, Brigitte Bardot to Bob Marley.

Lenny's warmth and humour will shine through the show as he introduces his choice of top tunes for Good Friday.
