With Britain facing a housing crisis, Josie d'Arby visits the Lake District to see how the church can make a difference. And to mark the season of Lent, Dr John Sentamu, the archbishop of York, discusses the subject of forgiveness.

There is music to celebrate St Patrick's Day and a performance by flautist Sir James Galway.

Lakes Affordable Housing

Josie d'Arby is in the picturesque Lake District where crippling house prices are inhibiting local people from getting a foot on the property ladder. The Deputy Director of Housing Justice talks about a "Faith in Affordable Housing" project, which advises churches of all denominations about selling land or buildings for the benefit of local people. Josie meets with Coniston resident, Lian, and her two children talk about the devastating effects the crisis had on her family, before they moved into a housing development built on land sold by the Diocese of Carlisle.

Sentamu Film One

You may remember the name Maureen Greaves. Her husband Alan was murdered on his way to play the organ at a Christmas Eve service in 2012. Maureen's faith has enabled her to forgive Alan's killers and continue her fantastic work in the community. The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, interviews Maureen in the first of a three part series featuring Christian women with incredible stories.

James Galway

Sir James Galway is arguably the world's most famous flautist. He has performed all over the globe, sold 30 million recordings and partnered with artists, such as Elton John and Stevie Wonder. The performance of Psalm 23 was filmed in Clandeboye Estate's Church of Ireland Chapel.

Affordable Housing

In Bristol we meet Rachel Noyce, who was given two months notice to leave her rented home because it had been sold. Forced to consider uprooting her family, Rachel's story took an unexpected turn when a Good Samaritan gave her an opportunity she couldn't refuse.
