Suspected prostate cancer sufferers should undergo an initial MRI scan to improve detection of aggressive forms of the disease and reduce the number of men undergoing unnecessary biopsies, a study has found. The Vendee Globe, nicknamed the Everest of the Seas, is the hardest and most famous sailing race in the world. The last Brit to come second was Dame Ellen MacArthur in 2001 and Alex Thomson has now equalled her record. Alex Thomson was second place sailor in the race and Sir Robin Knox Johnston was the first man to perform a single-handed non-stop circumnavigation of the globe.
