Lapwing Life Raft - once a common farmland bird, the Lapwing has been fast disappearing from the Welsh landscape. BogLIFE - Work's getting underway to restore a rare raised bog habitat - Britain's third largest - on the Wales/Shropshire border near Wrexham. The Marches Mosses BogLIFE Project has secured 5 million pounds of European funding which will be used to increase water levels by constructing bunds, as well as to purchase more peat land at Fenn's, Whixall & Bettisfield Mosses and Wem Moss.
And we visit Wales' first solar-powered village. "Pentre Solar" in Pembrokeshire runs entirely off the energy of the sun and will soon welcome it's first residents
