Roger Dodsworth: The Re-animated Englishman

A 17th century Englishman, found in the ice of the Alps, is brought back to life. Mary Shelley's tale is read by Catherine Dolan.

It’s 1826 and London is agog with news of a man who has been de-frozen after 170 years in Ice.

Mary Shelley - the author of Frankenstein - speculates on what changes the defrosted Mr Dodsworth must be finding in the world since his sleep began back in Cromwell's time.
