There's been a sharp rise in the cost of insurance claims for farmers who've had fires on their land. NFU Mutual says they paid out Β£47.9 million in 2015, a rise of 14% which they say is alarming. The most common causes are electrical fires, followed by mechanical faults and arson attacks. We hear from a Norfolk farmer who lost acres of arable crops following a combine harvester fire.

And it's Autumn Poetry day on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4, so we feature Anton Lesser reading the evocatively autumnal 'Digging' by Edward Thomas.

Presented by Anna Hill, produced by Sally Challoner.
