Yet another threat to honey bees - an Asian hornet invasion. Two have been sighted in Gloucestershire, now government staff are trying to find and destroy any nests.
World leaders are meeting in New York this week to discuss the rise of resistance to antibiotics. The UN summit aims to broker an international agreement on how to tackle the problem which has been described as an economic and security threat.
Worcestershire Wildlife Trust has been given funds to help pollinators thrive on farms.
