Our Queen: 90 Musical Years

A look back on the Queen's 90 years with the music she loves, presented by royal correspondent Eve Pollard.

In a special programme to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's 90th birthday, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 looks back at the Queen's 90 years through the music she loves.

Presented by Royal correspondent Eve Pollard and with contributions from the people who know the Queen best - her family and friends. Including the Honourable Margaret Rhodes, Lady Elizabeth Anson, Lady Jean Carnarvon, the Reverend Kenneth MacKenize, Minister of The Parish of Braemar and Crathie and Domestic Chaplain to Her Majesty The Queen in Scotland and the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall.

And not forgetting the wonderful music from George Formby and Vera Lynn; musicals including South Pacific and Kiss Me Kate; Military Bands, Pipes, Hymns and the Commonwealth.

This affectionate look at the life of the Queen through music she enjoys will delight and resonate with listeners everywhere.
