Script

Good Morning!

There is no emotion as debilitating as fear. One moment we feel reasonably confident and the next moment we get blindsided. Fear taps into our deepest anxieties.Μύ

Sooner or later we face a situation that leaves us sobered by our inadequacy. Our gifts and knowledge are no real guarantee of success. That’s not negative thinking – it’s simply being realistic.

But the gift of fear is that it pushes us to decide on our view of reality.
Μύ
How we see reality matters a great deal. Life’s problems present us with a choice. Will we trust in appearances or in the unseen living God?Μύ Trials tend to make us under-estimate God and because we can’t see what God is doing, we assume He’s doing nothing and our fate is left hanging.

The Bible says that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. (Having awe and reverence for God.)

So, when the odds seem against us and we are feeling overwhelmed, the most important thing we can do is to remember what is real - the character, power and rule of God - the God who is there – the God who loves us.

Lord, the Bible calls You the heart knower.Μύ So we give you both our fear and the problem causing our fear. Help us Lord. Amen
