The Radio Times' Jonathan Holmes looks ahead to Saturday's finale of the current series of Doctor Who which, viewers agree, has set a real benchmark of brilliance.

National Theatre Live screenings to cinemas across the country have grown in popularity in the last few years, bringing world class theatre to audiences who wouldn't be able to attend the performances in person. As they prepare to screen Jane Eyre on the 8th December, Head of NT Live Emma Keith talks about the success of the project.

Staying with the National Theatre, Head of Voice Jeanette Nelson gives us an insight into the way she works with some of the most famous voices in the business, and explains how we can take care of our own voices and grow in confidence and poise as a result.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is this month's book group choice. Broadcaster Muriel Gray and Heather Middleton from the Glasgow Women's Library join Janice to talk about this classic text.

Plus during December, we will be showcasing the work of new writers from the highlands and islands of Scotland, with a selection of radio plays that were made as part of HI WIRELESS, a training project run by Screen HI, in partnership with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland and Creative Scotland. This week, One Last Push Written by Sylvia Hehir with stirring performances by two of Scotland's greatest contemporary actors at the top of their game in Sharon Rooney and Gary Lewis.
