Sister Sledge and Shaun Escoffery

Craig Charles is joined by Sister Sledge and Shaun Escoffery, and Radio 2 listeners take over the playlist in Spinage au Trois.

This week Craig Charles has 2 musical legends stopping by the studio for a chat. Symbolising strong family values, Sister Sledge became global super stars at the height of the disco era. The anthem that made them a house hold name was 'We Are Family' and their hits include 'He's The Greatest Dancer', Lost In Music and 'Frankie' to name a few. The sisters are still performing energetic stage shows across the world and today they're stopping by the Radio 2 studio, to catch up with one of their biggest fans, Craig Charles. Craig's next guest is an artist that we've been supporting for many years and who's having a great 2015. In his day job he can be found treading the boards in the theatres of London's West End. This very talented gentleman also has an illustrious singing career. This year he released his stunning new album 'In The Red Room' which combines sheer gospel-tinged power with soulful subtlety. We welcome to the show Shaun Escoffery. We then had over the playlist duties to a Radio 2 listener in the sections of the show we call 'The Spinage au Trois'.
