The Proclaimers and Kym Marsh
Craig Charles is joined by the Proclaimers and his fellow Coronation Street actor Kym Marsh, and Radio 2 listeners take over the playlist for Spinage au Trois.
This week Craig Charles starts his run of summer shows on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2. Craig will be joined by 2 guests in the studio, a Radio 2 listener on the phone, to pick their 3 favourite songs, plus a chef to get those taste buds tingling with a tasty recipe. Craig's first guests form a Scottish band comprising of identical twins, that have a string of hits under their belt including "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", "Sunshine on Leith", "I'm On My Way" and "Letter from America". After completing a 2-year World tour, Craig and Charlie spend 2014 writing their 10th studio album 'Let's Hear It For The Dogs'. We welcome to the studio the legends that are The Proclaimers.
Following the announcing that Craig Charles will be leaving Coronation Street after 10 years of treading the cobbles, he's invited onto the show his co-star Kym Marsh. Kym joined the cast of the Worlds longest running soap in 2006, in which she plays Michelle Connor. We then had over the playlist duties to a Radio 2 listener in the sections of the show we call 'The Spinage au Trois'.
