The Liberal Democrats will for the first time be campaigning on their record in government on May 7th. In 2010 Nick Clegg led his party into the coalition government with the Conservatives. So what has the Deputy Prime Minister achieved in the last five years and what has he got to offer women voters? Jenni talks to Nick Clegg, Deputy Prime Minister and the Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

Marjane Satrapi

Marjane Satrapi is best known for her autobiographical graphic novel , which was turned into an award winning film. The Iranian born writer and director, who now lives in Paris, discusses her new projectΒ The Voices – a horror-comedy film about a serial killer factory worker, played by Ryan Reynolds, who takes advice from his talking cat and dog. Marjane tells Jenni what attracted her to the film, why she likes her lead character and whether she would like to go back toΒ Iran.

Gender and Conservation

The University of Cambridge is currently holding its annual Science Festival and this year there has been a large focus on gender. This Saturday the festival will hold a public debate entitled β€œ?” Dr Rosie Trevelyan, director of the , will be speaking at the event. She speaks to Jenni to discuss why gender equality in science matters.

MostΒ ill or disabled parents try very hard to minimise the effect of their difficulties on their children, and many young people are very happy to help. But juggling school work with the responsibilities that normally come with becoming an adult is hard. As part of the project, students in Cambridgeshire wanted to find out what life was like for fellow School Reporter Elle who is a Young Carers Champion.
