Documentary telling the story of Pat Kerr, who 25 years ago, masterminded the creation of a children's village for destitute mothers and children in rural Bangladesh.

25 years ago, British Airways Flight Attendant, Pat Kerr, masterminded the creation of a Children's Village for destitute mothers and children in rural Bangladesh. She even sacrificed her glamorous job to administer its day-to-day running, living rough and working there.

Pat and her team had purchased 13 acres of flood-free land where the village of Shishu Polli Plus grew over the years, providing safe haven for thousands of displaced mothers and children.

Pat has dealt with the various challenges that have arisen from time to time... 'Never a day passes without a crisis' she admits... and 25 years on, with a new crisis surrounding the validity of ownership for 9 of the 13 acres, she faces the biggest threat of all.
