In 1986 Carolyn Hitt won the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ carol-writing competition A Song For Christmas - a feat that no-one would have remembered if it weren't for the singer she beat into second place. In this nostalgic recollection of a teenage talent show, Carolyn recalls the Christmas she and her fellow valleys schoolgirls did battle with Gary Barlow.
