The radically changed appearance of Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger continues to provoke a heated debate about whether she may or may not have had plastic surgery. Why do we care? Susie Orbach and Sali Hughes discuss. Kim Chakanetsa joins Jane to talk abut a new series on the Â鶹ԼÅÄ's World Service, The Conversation, in which she talks to two eminent women of similar professions from two different cultures. The radically changed appearance of Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger continues to provoke a heated debate about whether she may or may not have had plastic surgery. Is the criticism of the actress fair? After all, more of us are choosing to go under the knife. Last year in the UK more than 45,000 women and 4,700 men underwent some form of cosmetic procedure. A 17 % jump on the previous 12 months. So what does the debate about the Hollywood actress reveal about our own attitudes to changing our body shape? Shock, confusion or hypocrisy? The Conversation: Success Stories From Women Around The World

AÌýnew series on the World Service, , will explore the success stories of two women from two cultures, through conversation hosted by Â鶹ԼÅÄ Africa’s Kim Chakanetsa. The first editionÌý brings together two judges, Khalida Khan, Pakistan's first female judge in the 1970s, who now presides over the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in The Hague, and Mandisa Maya, the first black woman to sit on the Supreme Court of Appeal in South Africa.
