Nicola Sturgeon looks likely to become the next leader of the Scottish National Party. She joined the SNP as a teenager and this summer she was the leading female voice for a Yes vote in the referendum for Scottish independence. If elected she will become the third woman, leading one of the main parties in Scotland along with the Conservatives’ Ruth Davidson and Labour’s Johann Lamont. Janni talks to Nicola Sturgeon about her ambitions for Scotland and what she would do to look after the interests of a country that rejected independence last month.
