2014 Final: Kingussie v Glenurquhart
Jonathan Sutherland presents live coverage of the 2014 Camanachd Cup Final as Kingussie take on Glenurquhart at Bught Park, in Inverness.
Jonathan Sutherland presents coverage of the biggest event in the Shinty calendar, the Camanachd Cup Final between Kingussie and Glenurquhart, from Bught Park in Inverness.
Kingussie are one of the most successful clubs in the history of the Camanachd Cup having lifted the famous trophy on 22 occasions, but they have lost in the final three times since their last triumph 11 years ago.
In contrast Glenurquhart have never won the biggest prize in the sport in their 130-year history. Their only appearance in the showpiece event came in 1988 when they faced the same opposition in an epic contest dubbed 'The Fairytale Final', with Kingussie coming back from two goals down to win 4-2.
James MacPherson has been the star performer in Glenurquhart's journey to the final this time with five goals, while Savio Genini has also scored in every round for Kingussie.
Commentary comes from the voice of Shinty, Hugh Dan MacLennan.
