Ceilidh a' Cho-Fhlaitheis/Commonwealth Concert

To celebrate the beginning of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Bruce MacGregor and Kirsteen MacDonald present an evening of traditional folk music live from Â鶹ԼÅÄ at the Quay.

Scots and Gaelic language performers are to the fore with songs and music from Karen Matheson and Donald Shaw, multi award winning singer Siobhan Miller, young North Uist singer Linda MacLeod, Orcadian folk musician and songwriter Kris Drever and the Gaelic five piece band, Dàimh.

Also due to appear are The James Brothers, two unrelated musicians who hail from Australia and New Zealand with their own brand of folk, blues and bluegrass.
