Clare Balding hosts the topical faith show. Her guest today is Ayo, a German born singer of Nigerian and Romany heritage, who's made her home in Paris. She's sold one and a half million records worldwide and recently won 'Best Female Singer' at the Globes de Cristal Awards for excellence in French art and culture. Her fourth album 'Ticket To The World' was released in the UK at the end of March. She'll be singing live in the studio. Clare's faith guest is the Sikh media commentator and author, Dr Savi Arora.

ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Songs of Praise has extended the deadline for amateur choirs to enter the Gospel Choir Of The Year Competition 2014.Μύ It’s a great opportunity for choirs to showcase the power of Gospel music and to bring their passion and faith to a ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One audience. If you think your choir has got what it takes to spread the message of Gospel music then you have until the 30th May to send in your entry.ΜύΜύ

The event is hosted by David Grant and takes place on one day when six of the best amateur choirs will perform at the Hackney Empire in London on 5th July in front of celebrity judges.
