Robin’s stand-up shows help his audience to laugh at – and understand – all aspects of science from evolution to particle physics.Ìý He’s the brains behind what’s now become a Christmas tradition, a science variety show called Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People and he’s co-presenter with Brian Cox of Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage.

Ìý

Robin tells Adam about his comedy influences, falling in love with science and the growing popularity of rationalism. They also discuss a century of psychology and psychiatry, the subject of his new show, Robin Ince: In and Out of His Mind, which he’s bringing to the Machynlleth Comedy Festival and the Hay Festival.
