Clare English - is technically English. It's not just her surname. She was born in Bristol but grew up in Glasgow and has worked in Scotland and London. She's part of the nearly 10 percent of Scotland's population - born in England.
There's always been a perception of a clash between the English and the Scots; a general wariness of our neighbours and a long history of invasion, conquering and ownership. But what about now? The English are the biggest group of non-Scots living here. They're present in every rank and role of Scottish society, happily integrated in the most part, but just how different culturally, politically is difficult to say. A curious Clare travels around Scotland to find out more about being English in Scotland in the run up to the Independence referendum.
