Golden Dawn
Anns an tri bliadhna a dh’fhalbh, tha an Golden Dawn air a dhol bho bhith na phà rtaidh air an fhìor là mh dheas ann am poilitigs na Grèige gu grunn bhuill a bhith aca sa phà rlamaid. Tron ùine sin ged-thà , tha casaidean air nochdadh nan aghaidh gu bheil iad iar a bhith an-sàs ann an droch fhòirneart an aghaidh in-imrichean, mìon-shluaghan, is buidhnean poilitigeach air an là imh chlì. San t-Sultain chaidh an t-seinneadair Pavlos Fyssas, a bha ag iomairt an aghaidh bhuidhnean na là imhe deise, a mhurt le ball dhen Gholden Dawn. Ged-thà , tha an Golden Dawn iad fhèin cuideachd air fòirneart fhulang. Aig toiseach an t-Samhain am-bliadhna, chaidh dithis dha na buill aca a mhurt ann an ionnsaigh gunna an dèidh dhaibh an oifis aca fhà gail.
Leis gu bheil an taic aca a’ sìor fhà s, is le soirbheachas air a bhith aca ann an taghaidhean, tha Darren Linc a’ faighneachd dè seòrsa buidheann a tha sa Gholden Dawn an-diugh, is dè tha fa-near dhaibh.
Golden Dawn
In the past three years, the far-right Golden Dawn party has gone from the absolute fringes of Greek politics to having numerous representatives in the national parliament. Their rise has been shrouded in allegations of violence against ethnic minorities, immigrants and political opponents on the left. The most high-profile incident yet was the murder of anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas by a member of the Golden Dawn. However, Golden Dawn themselves have also been victims of violence. At the beginning of November this year, two of their members were shot dead after leaving a local party office.
Given their electoral successes and their growing support base, Darren Laing asks what kind of party the Golden Dawn is today, and what the future holds for them.
