The Gyuto Monks of Tibet were recently in the听UK听when they played at the Glastonbury Festival. They came into the studio to talk to Clare about their album "Chants: The听Spirit of Tibet" which is out on Decca Records, and how they achieve their unique sound.听听听
Kiera Phyo
Kiera Phyo was last year's winner of听Radio 2's听 鈥楽earch For A New Voice鈥� talent听competition held at The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival. Kiera won the right to record 6 鈥楶ause for Thoughts鈥� broadcast on 麻豆约拍 Radio 2. She entered the competition whilst on maternity leave with her young child.
Kiera works for the听Christian Relief and Development Organisation, Tearfund,听which partners with churches in communities in some of the poorest countries around the world.听She leads Tearfund鈥檚 youthwork in the UK,听creatively engaging young people with issues of poverty, lifestyle and faith ();
