An Edinburgh social worker is asked to take a new trainee under her wing, but as she explains the pressures of the job it emerges that she is haunted by a mistake from her past.
Writer Clare Bailey has drawn out the amazing work that social workers perform, the difficult conditions they face in an under-funded service, and the emotional cost to them when things do go tragically wrong.
Recorded on location in Edinburgh in January, the play stars Gail Watson as social worker Tess, Mark McDonnell as Ken the trainee social worker,
Kirstin Maclean as Kelly and Gordon Kennedy as Colin.
The director is Marilyn Imrie, sound design is by Lee MacPhail and the producer is Gordon Kennedy for Absolutely Productions Ltd.
Clare Bayley wrote the radio version of her award winning play The Container for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland last year.
