Desmond celebrates some of his favourite icons from the 50s and this week's show includes an archive interview with Malcolm Vaughan.

Desmond Carrington hosts a second series of Icons of the 50s, celebrating some of his favourite artists from that decade.

Each programme includes words and music from a star personality of the 50s, first heard on Radio Luxembourg and the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Light Programme. This series, Desmond shares the presentation with the veteran singer and broadcaster Sir Jimmy Young, who also contributes one of his own records to each programme.

This week includes an archive interview with Malcolm Vaughan.
