John Leguizamo & Marc Warren - The West End, it's the place to be...
Graham chats to actors John Leguizamo and Marc Warren. Plus he revisits Metal Mickey's thankfully short-lived recording career and he promised he would never do it again.
Graham's first guest this week was American stage and screen actor John Leguizamo. They chatted about his movies including 'Moulin Rouge', 'Ice Age' & 'Romeo & Juliet', and John's award winning Broadway one-man show 'Ghetto Klown', now in the West End. John also talked about working with Al Pancino, and starring as Luigi in 'Super Mario Bros.' with Bob Hoskins and Fiona Shaw.
Later, Marc Warren, star of 'Hustle', 'State Of Play' and 'Life On Mars', popped in to talk about his new play 'Cool Hand Luke'. Marc also queried his fake tan, remembered how he didn't get on so well at drama school, and bonded bi time with Graham. Don't we all?
This week's 'I Can't Believe It's Not Better' song was chosen by Colin Smith in Kent. It was 'Metal Mickey Magic' by Metal Mickey, from a 1980's children's TV show, and apparently Tony Blackburn used to play it back in the day... oh Tony, how could you!
And in 'Grill Graham', Mary-Anne in Kidderminster was looking for advice from Graham and Maria on how to celebrate her husband's 60th birthday on a budget, but at the same time still making sure it's a special occasion. And Andrew from Margate, who has recently lost weight, had reached a plateau and wondered how to lose some more and gain some confidence.
In 'Tune With A Tale', Jim Leavers, who takes people on ghost tours around Manchester, chose James Taylor's 'The Frozen Man'.
And Graham discovered that Bobbie Pryor has a coffee addiction, and her coffee of choice was a soy hazelnut latte - now you know!
